The mobile revolution

I used to think that these tech craze is only in the west. For a very long time I have been interested in web technologies and finally I came to Nairobi to persue my developer dreams. I have to meet young developers who are under 30 yet running their own companies. The opportunities are mob, and many young developers most from universities are pitching their apps in different developer competitions. What came as a surprise to me was the prizes that guys are winning, some competitions are as high as $ 50,000. With such rewards, which are more than incentives have encouraged more and more developers to get into tje scene as it was seen with the just concluded pivot east competition which brought together mobile developers from eastern Africa
